SBI Specialist Cadre Officers recruitment notification: Registration closes on September 25, 2014

Just three more days are left for online registration and payment of fee for the State Bank of India (SBI) Specialist Officer recruitment exam. The online registration which began on September 9, 2014 would be getting closed on September 25, 2014. The process of registration is considered complete, only when the fee payment has been made.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates would be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on October 17, 2014. The date of test will be uploaded on bank's website and the registered candidates would also be informed via SMS and e- mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters.

Test Centre:

The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna & Trivandrum.

Pattern of Test for Economist, Risk Analyst and Company Secretary Posts

• Test of Reasoning - 50 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude - 35 marks
• English Language - 35 marks
• Professional Knowledge - 100 marks
• English Language Test (Descriptive - Essay type) - 50 marks

Note - No descriptive test for risk analyst and company secretary posts.

Interview :

The aggregate marks of the candidates qualifying in both the objective tests
and descriptive test (only for Economist) will be arranged in descending order. Adequate
number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview.
